Architecture postgraduate

I think that postgraduate has some good things to us, for example, more opportunities to give us work or be more expert in a theme. I would like to study a subject called: Residential habitat in contexts of social vulnerability, because if i think in the first thing that made me choose this career them are the things related with the social structures and how we can make better these situations.

I would like study this postgraduate in Chile, in the Universidad de Chile, but also I want to study in the Universidad de Barcelona, a postgraduate called bioclimatic architecture, because the future of the world is using another energies or materials to build the buildings and I would like to learn about other kind of architecture, how is the Spanish or European, I can make travels between the countries, so I should take advantage of that.

I would like study in the same country or place where I am, because if a study in the computer I think it will distract me in my works or with the things that I will read and if also can take a part-time curse I will take it, because I can study and work in the same day or when I have classes.

And an advice: try to talk with people who lives or travel to others countries to make investigations or o learn about other countries, they can help you with the things than the universities are specialized ;)

Why I'm studying archiceture?

If think in my future and the work that I will have, I think than the architecture, for me, really need to think on it, so I hope works indoors in a studio, only to me. In the studio I will have all the thing than I need, just like my materials, pens, pencils, and different kinds of paperboards to work in the muck up.

I wish travel around the world in my job, and not only stay in my studio. Making travels I hope than I can understands the different kinds of architecture that are in the world, and learn about the culture of the place, to understand how the people think about the place that they are living.

The salary is an important thing too, because if I want to make travels I really need cash to make that, so my salary should be the necessary to live (I need food and house too haha) and to pay the tickets than I’ll buy.

About the study in the future, I always thought in take a major study related with the houses and how to make the spaces to the people live in there, only to make better the work in the social housing, that is my dream, that is because I’m studying architecture.

Foodie or not Foodie

I prefer the salty food, because i feel than this kind of food make me feel more satisfied than the sweet food, just like food that we eat in the lunch. I don’t hate any food, but are some spices like the ‘’cochayuyo’’ than I can’t eat.

 I don´t think that in this moment we have an exotic food, I think that the food is very different in other places and that make us the illusion like an exotic food. Different food just like the Chinese are very exotic to the people that are living in America. Eat animals or insects like scorpions, beetles, snakes, starfish or jellyfish are too much strange to us.

I love eat food but I don't consider me a ‘’foodie’’, because I don’t know about all the tastes, or the way to eat all the foods, however I love to eat food and explore another kinds of food not only Chilean or the other countries in the continent, if not a European food or Asian food, then are very interesting for me. How they made that food, what are the ingredients that they use to make the food, how they cook the thing, and a lots of thing like these.
